Woodclose
Irish Draughts is located in West Yorkshire, and
was established in 1989.
Brockvale Silver Heather ( now deceased) was purchased in
1997 and has had a significant effect in the breeding
programme, namely her daughter Woodclose Silver Storm.
Heather was a Select Hornby Premium Mare, Reserve Penmeryl
Breeding Champion in 1997 and National Supreme Champion in
1999.
My aim is to produce Irish Draughts which are true to TYPE,
not too big, deep bodied, short legged, bone with quality,
good conformation and movement with a fabulous temperament.
Occasionally I will cross with the TB which has produced
some outstanding results. |
