Irish Draught Horse Society (GB)
The name Irish Draught may be misleading in that many people are surprised to find that the breed is a lighter free-moving animal than the traditional image of the heavy horse. However, today the Irish Draught is more sought after for its breeding qualities.

Irish Draught Horse Society of New Zealand
Irish horses are found taking part in all equestrian disciplines in New Zealand from top dressage, show jumping and horse trials competitions to the show ring and pony club. The Irish Draught has an exceptionally strong and sound constitution. They are known for their intelligent and gentle nature, making them an ideal mount for all types of rider.

Young Prospect RID
This magnificent performance stallion has outstanding conformation and movement, with immaculate bloodlines. Young Prospect’s jump is enormous and he excels across all disciplines. Young Prospect’s stunning looks and gentle nature have resulted in him starring in several TV series and glossy magazines, making him known as the 'male model' equivalent for the horse world.

Highwood Stud
Having bred pure & part bred Irish Draughts since 1985, our aim has always been to produce and promote this wonderful breed to the best of our ability. Our stallions offer, not only a selection of rare and outcross bloodlines, but have also competed at the highest level.

 

Highwood Dressage Horses
At Highwood Dressage we are aiming to offer a selection of attractive, talented horses, suitable for the dressage arena. We have, since 1983, found and produced many top class breeding stallions, dressage horses and ponies, show and competition horses.

The Pound House
Maggie Dollard  brings with her a lifetime of experience. She is one of a short list of people suitably qualified and experienced to inspect and grade both stallions and mares. She is a senior inspector and internationally renowned judge of Irish draught horses, having judged at such venues as the Royal show, the Great Yorkshire and Three counties, in addition to judging appointment in Ireland.

Harkaway Farm
Being from England, Maggi Tylergrew up riding these lovely horses (Irish Draughts), a breed that has been imported into that country in great numbers for a many, many generations. When we moved to the US it was a natural choice for us to continue a small breeding program with the breed that had given Maggi so much enjoyment for so many years.

Lionwood Stud
Established in 1998, our small, private Irish Draught stud lies on the limestone-rich bedrock of an ancient Silurian seabed, in what is now the river basin between the Mississippi and Cedar Rivers in Eastern Iowa. The goal of our breeding program is the conservation of the rare, traditional purebred Irish Draught horse.

New Hill Farm Stud
Situated on the A6, Manchester Road Worsley within easy access of all motorway links, main line railway station, and Manchester airport. 180 acres of well fenced and well managed pasture offering 24  hours supervision. There is also excellent accommodation.

West Down Stud
The privately owned West Down Stud, established by Paul and Shena Halliwell, is located at South Molton, North Devon. Situated in beautiful, rolling, Devon countryside and enjoying a pleasant southerly aspect, the property is contained within a ring fence.
West Down Bed & Breakfast
A warm friendly welcome awaits you at West Down, a spacious, peaceful ‘Arts and Crafts' country house built in the 1920's and set in 30 acres of rolling Devon countryside. Fresh flowers and fruit in the room and lots of other personal touches make West Down a home from home, and the emphasis is on friendliness and informality.

Irish horses are renowned throughout the world for their athleticism, ability and temperament.The Northern Ireland Horse Board is a breeders co-operative which was set up to support Northern Ireland horse breeders and maintain the Irish Horse Register in Northern Ireland.

Progressive Horse Dentistry
Antony de Csernatony is an equine/horse dentist working in the Yorkshire and Lancashire area. He has been practising horse dentistry since 2001, working with owners, vets, physios and chiropractors. He has a great knowledge, and a great love, of horses. He fully believes that the use of modern equine dental care can maximise performance, health and comfort of your horse.
